FC Barcelona are in advanced negotiations with Manchester United to make the transfer of English striker Marcus Rashford permanent.
Rashford is currently part of the Catalan club on loan for the 2025/26 season, while the agreement between the two clubs includes a purchase option worth around 30 million euros.
His good performances this season have convinced Barcelona's management to work to keep him beyond the summer.
The English striker has been an important element in Barcelona's attacking department, contributing goals and assists, which has prompted the club to accelerate talks for a permanent transfer.
If the deal is finalized, Rashford is expected to sign a multi-year contract with Barcelona, while the Spanish club will activate the purchase clause that was included in the loan agreement with Manchester United.
