Today, May 16, the agenda of the Central Election Commission will include various activities in the framework of preparations for the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on June 7, 2026.
Initially, at 11:00, at the "Swiss Diamond" hotel, the CEC will organize the drawing ceremony for the ranking of political entities on the ballot for the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo.
Then, at 13:30 PM, at the CEC headquarters, the next meeting of this institution will be held, where various preparatory issues for these elections will be on the agenda.
"At this meeting, the CEC is expected to certify the candidates of the political entities participating in the June 7 elections as well as approve the design and content of the ballot for voting outside Kosovo," announced CEC Spokesperson Valmir Elezi.
The agenda is this:
• Review and approval of the recommendation for the certification of candidates of political entities for the Early Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, 07.06.2026.
• Review and approval of the design and content of the ballot for voting outside Kosovo for the Early Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, 07.06.2026;
• Review and approval of the design of the seal for the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, 07.06.2026;
• Review and approval of the formula for members of conditional polling station councils;
• Review and approval of the formula for counting teams at Municipal Counting Centers.
