The first goal of the match was scored in the 42nd minute by Youri Tielemans, who scored a super goal with a volley after an assist from Morgan Rogers.
The Belgian midfielder shot accurately inside the area, not leaving much space for the opposing goalkeeper and giving the English team the advantage at a very important moment in the first half.
The second goal was also spectacular and was scored by Buendia in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time, assisted by McGinn.
