Yesterday's decision of the Constitutional Court is just additional evidence, after many similar cases of ethnic overvoting and unfair decisions that are made according to the personal will of the majority of Macedonian judges, who are in the majority of Albanians and all other ethnic communities in the country, says the reaction of the Sela ASH.
"This case only confirmed the urgent need to establish the Badenter principle during the voting of laws dealing with Badenter in the Assembly, or other laws and provisions that affect the rights and equality of ethnic communities in the country."
The Alliance for Albanians and the Chairman, Ziadin Sela, as the first to raise this issue in public, call on all Albanian political entities in particular to urgently take concrete actions to achieve this very important mechanism for the protection of the constitutional rights of Albanians, which are endangered by the highest constitutional institution, from which there are then no other avenues and mechanisms for complaints and reversal of the decision.
"As a political party, we also strongly condemn the statements of the head of the Constitutional Court regarding the use of the Albanian language and the rights of citizens that are violated by the "Safe City" project, which sounded more like personal opinions than constitutional and legal interpretations," the ASH-Sela response states.
