Art Gashi has resigned from the leadership of KB GO+ Peja, surrendering to great pressure from fans.
His resignation was confirmed and announced on social media, with the club's official website thanking Gashi for his contributions over the years.
"Today, with a heavy heart but a clear mind, I have made the decision to resign from my role at KB Peja, following the recent results and also in response to the voice of the fans, whom I have always respected," said Art Gashi, in his statement released by KB Peja on "Facebook".
"His commitment, love for the club and respect for the fans will always remain part of the history of KB Peja. We wish him much success in his future journey and thank him for everything he has given to Peja," the Peja club writes on "Facebook".
Art Gashi had been part of Peja since 2011, when he was first elected president of the club.
Currently, GO+ Peja is ranked fourth in the Kosovo Super League basketball standings, with eight wins and nine losses./Express newspaper/
