Former Liechtenstein striker, now coach, Mario Frick, worked with future AC Milan midfielder Ardon Jashari during his time at Luzern.
Mario Frick, former Pisa, Verona and Siena striker, spoke to "La Gazzetta dello Sport" about Milan's upcoming transfer, Ardon Jashari, who is coming from Belgian club Club Brugge.
"He's from another planet: he's going to have a great career, he already behaves like a 30-year-old on the pitch. He's a born leader: at 20 he was already the leader of the dressing room."
He also spoke about a situation that had occurred earlier, which had resulted in his 'punishment'.
"Yes, he wanted to go to Basel. We took the captain's armband from him and he accepted it well; he knew he had made a mistake. Six months later we gave it back to him. Whenever he can, he plays vertically and I'm sure he will do the same in Italy. The only shortcoming is that he doesn't score many goals, but he has pace, he is fast and physically very strong."
Ardon Jashari joins Milan for a total transfer fee of 39 million euros, including bonuses.
Just a year earlier, Jashari had been transferred to Club Brugge from Lucerne for the sum of 6 million euros./Express newspaper/
