Anton Cena continues to make the Kosovo Police proud, but also the state of Kosovo itself and Albanians in general.

After winning the gold medal in judo, the veteran of this sport brought another medal to his homeland – the silver one at the World Games for Police, Customs, Corrections and Firefighters.

Despite the chest injury and the pain he felt, Cena never gave up and fought until the end, writes "Gazeta Express".

This injury may prevent him from participating in swimming competitions, but he intends to try and challenge his body tomorrow in Birmingham, Alabama, in the United States of America, where these competitions are being held.

Anton Cena has brought dozens of medals to the state of Kosovo, while also being a lobbyist and ambassador for our country.

Below you can read the social media post of champion Anton Cena.

“In Birmingham, Alabama, at the World Police, Customs, Corrections and Firefighters Games – an arena where courage meets dedication, and strength explodes in the art of discipline.

On this magnificent stage, in addition to the gold medal in Judo, I managed to touch another star – the silver medal in BJJ-Jujitsu, writing another chapter of pride for the Kosovo Police.

Although my chest ached and the sound of injury warned me to retreat, I chose to fight with every atom of my being, because great victories do not come from comfort, but from challenges that are overcome with determination.

Swimming, where I dreamed of excelling, seems to have been left behind, even though tomorrow I will do the impossible, it seems it will remain a temporary dream interrupted by pain, but the flame of ambition remained lit.

Since 2012 in Northern Ireland, I have laid the first stones of a bridge of pride, a bridge that connects the Kosovo Police to the world, through medals and results.
that prove that we are more than just a name on the map.

On this path of challenges, even falling off his bike, just a week before the race, became an additional motivation, a call to show that when the heart is determined, pain becomes a silent companion.

We, as a new force, are a rising phoenix, with the fiery wings of intelligence, work, and emancipation, flying above prejudices and limitations.

These competitions are stages where we shine, where our name becomes a symbol of strength and dignity.

I did this also for Kosovo, for that land that raised me, that inspired me, and that asks us to be the light of hope in the darkness of challenges.

Thank you to the former cadets from the Police School and friends who believed in me and supported me, enabling me to stand and fight for medals like Shkelqim Tmava, Shemsedin Balaj, Arben Kelmendi, Vedat Ademi, Jeton Shabani, Nexhmedin Laçi, Izet Peci and Dashmir Deda.

Now, my eyes are on Europe, on the European Police Championship in Spain, a place where politics cannot defeat the power of sport and our values.

There, in those three competitions where I have already won seven gold medals and one silver, I will go not for a pleasure trip, but to give another blow of pride to the Kosovo Police.

Let us remember: Patriotism is a fire that burns in the heart and manifests itself in our actions.

Sport is the most powerful ambassador of our identity in the world, a universal language that connects people's hearts.

Every person can be a hero in their field, and together, with passion and dedication, we create a strong and invincible state.

Special and final thanks go to the General Director, Mr. Gazmend Hoxha, and the Police Sports Association, of which I am also a part as the President of the “Kosovo Police” Judo Club.

This is a precious support that empowers me even more on my path to making the name of the Kosovo Police visible on the global stage.

I love you and hug you from my heart,

Shemsedin Balaj, Izet Peci, Negjmedin Laçi, Vedat Ademi, Arben Kelmendi, Jeton Shabani and Dashmir Dedes and Shkelqim Tmaves.

The champion who never stops, who gives everything of himself for the homeland, because for me every victory is a poem written with sweat and heart! The champion.” /Gazeta Express
