Prime Minister Albin Kurti met today with the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku.
They met in the Assembly to discuss the issue of the new president.
Asked by journalists whether an agreement is expected between Vetëvendosje and LDK, Kurti did not answer.
Kurti and Abdixhiku met yesterday, but did not reach an agreement on the post of president.
"There were no names, no proposals, no will for consensus. Impositions are not the adequate solution for the LDK," Abdixhiku told the media after the meeting yesterday.
He declined to talk about the specific names of those mentioned so far, but said that the LDK does not accept names that will function as an "extension of the government."
