Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti was seen enjoying the carnivals in Rio de Janeiro over the weekend, having a few beers with former Milan striker Ronaldo: "I'm sure he's really enjoying the experience."

Ancelotti was appointed Brazil coach in May last year and will lead the "Seleção" to the 2026 World Cup in North America this summer.

Brazil has already secured qualification for the World Cup and will then play France and Croatia in two international friendlies on March 26 and April 1.

Before the matches, Ancelotti was able to experience some of the local traditions and culture during carnivals in the country.

He was recently in Rio alongside several former Brazil stars, including Ronaldo and Denilson.

According to local media, "ge.globo", Ancelotti and Ronaldo were in the box next to each other and at one point, Ronaldo passed the former Milan and Real Madrid coach with a cart during the parade.

They were filmed drinking beers and greeting each other among the large crowd.

Later, Ronaldo gave a short interview to "ge.globo", talking about his relationship with Ancelotti and the prospects of the Italian national team.

"We were trying to select the team for the World Cup, and I threw myself into it," Ronaldo joked.

"I know him very well and from the conversations we've had, I'm sure he's enjoying the experience here, getting to know our people and working in Brazilian football, the most successful in the history of the World Cup. I'm sure he's enjoying the energy of the Brazilians who support him, because he'll need it during the World Cup."/Express newspaper/
