Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has stated that Christian Pulisic is a doubt for tomorrow's Serie A match against Como, while Inter remain the "clear favourites" for the title.
Milan will host Como at the San Siro in a rescheduled match from week 24, which was not held earlier after the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics was held at the Stadio Meazza.
Santiago Gimenez is injured and Adrien Rabiot is suspended, while Pulisic is also not fully fit.
"Apart from Rabiot, who is suspended, the others are feeling well. Alexis Saelemaekers is available and I hope Pulisic is too, because he still feels discomfort. We will see if he is ready. Gimenez will be back soon," Allegri said.
Asked about Rabiot's replacement, he added that Ardon Jashari is feeling well and the decision will be made soon.
Milan can also rely on Luka Modric in midfield: "Luka's secret is his passion and great love for football. He apologizes and gets angry with himself when he makes a mistake in a pass. The calmness with which he approaches training and matches is an example for everyone."
Neither Rafael Leao nor Pulisic started the last two league games, but Allegri said Leão is fine after a good training session and expects both to be very important at the end of the season.
For Como coach Cesc Fabregas, Allegri had only positive words: "They are doing a great job and are in contention for the Champions League."
Regarding the title race, Allegri said: "Inter were the clear favourites for the title along with Napoli, and now even more so. There are many games left and anything can happen. We have to stay calm and focus only on the pitch."/Express newspaper/
