All the attention of Albanians from all over the world tonight is on the "Dubocica" stadium in Leskovac.
There, starting at 20:45, Albania will be challenged by Serbia, with the match to be played as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
This is a confrontation that arouses the interest of everyone, not just Albanians, because of the history it has.
However, even though this match is causing a lot of commotion outside the stadium, a calm atmosphere is expected in the stadium tonight, due to some decisions by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
First was the move from Belgrade to Leskovac, and second was the decision not to sell tickets for this match, making the participants in the stands 'selective'.
Despite the stadium having over 8 seats, only 6500 seats will be open for tonight's match.
For tonight's match, Albania can count on all its players, except for Adrion Pajaziti and Ardian Ismajli, who are injured. Nazmi Gripshi was called up to fill a gap in the roster.
On the other hand, Serbia will be without Nikola Milenkovic, suspended, and Sasa Lukic, injured.
Albania and Serbia have faced each other once during these qualifiers, with the match being played in Tirana on June 7.
The match ended goalless, 0-0, after Rey Manaj missed a penalty at the end of the first half.
Previously, Albania and Serbia had faced each other in the EURO 2016 qualifiers.
Albania won the first match in Belgrade, on the table, following the CAS decision, after Albanian players and the national team's coaching staff were attacked.
However, the second match, played in Elbasan, was won by Serbia with a score of 2-0./Express newspaper/
