DUI Chairman Ali Ahmeti participated in the promotion of Ahmet Shala's book titled "When Silence Speaks." In his speech, Ahmeti said that former KLA leaders are being unfairly tried with accusations of crimes they did not commit.
"We all know that an unfair trial is being held, accusations for acts we did not commit just because we were patriots, liberators and organizers of the resistance and war. We will not be broken, just as the families of our friends and fellow fighters who are in The Hague are not broken. We will act courageously for the truth," said Ahmeti.
As for the author Ahmet Shala, Ahmeti said that he has also done work in diplomacy.
"Ahmet Shala, you have also done a great job in diplomacy. You have defended freedom won with blood and justice at almost all tables," Ahmeti said, among other things.
