Today marks a quarter of a century since the beginning of the fighting of the 112th Brigade "Mujdin Aliu" in the Polog region and the Sharr Mountains. In commemoration of this date, Ali Ahmeti recalled the importance of the Spring of Dignity, when a powerful call for freedom was given from the Sharr Mountains and the shouts of the National Liberation Army marked the beginning of the battles for the country's freedom.
At the commemorative activities at Sellca Castle, family members of martyrs, veterans and war invalids gathered to reflect on the sincerity of the national cause and to honor all those who watered the roots of the nation's eternity with their blood.
Ali Ahmeti emphasized that the legacy of the martyrs for the protection of national ideals must continue to guide the unification and progress of the country, calling on citizens to remain united as in the spring of 2001, and in the country's future challenges.
