The Speaker of the Parliament, Albulena Haxhiu, last night asked the Constitutional Court to temporarily suspend the constitutional deadlines regarding the election of the new president of Kosovo, a few minutes before the deadline for his appointment.
President Vjosa Osmani responded to this at today's press conference, where she announced that she has issued a decree to dissolve the Parliament.
"No request for an interim measure in the Constitutional Court automatically suspends the constitutional deadline. Only a court decision could do such a thing," said Osmani. /Express/
