Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti appeared today at the Basic Court of Pristina, where a hearing is being held against one of the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans Organization, Faton Klinaku, reports T7.
Klinaku, along with Nuredin Selman, are accused by the Pristina Basic Prosecution Office of threatening Kurti through social networks on August 30, 2023.
Faton Klinaku wrote on Facebook in early August that he and his lawyer had not been informed that this indictment had been filed against him, but added that he was "looking forward" to facing Kurti in Court.
The Special Prosecution Office said that on August 30, 2023, Klinaku had repeated a post with threatening content against Kurti, which stated: "... I'm repeating it again, if you find the previous post scandalous: I would rather kill Albin Kurti than let him go and leave Kosovo."
