Albanian students from North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and other Albanian regions will gather today in Skopje to protest against the failure to conduct the Jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language.
The protest is organized in reaction to the exam being held only in the Macedonian language, although the Albanian language enjoys official status in the country.
The organizers have called for mass participation, emphasizing that protecting the right to use Albanian in institutions and professional processes is a matter of dignity and equality.
The rally will be held under the motto "Unite with the students - all one", while the start of the protest is announced for 16:30, at Ura e Gurit.
"In defense of our language, all together in front of the Stone Bridge," the students' call reads.
Participation in the protest has also been confirmed by the Student Parliament of the University of Pristina, which has called on students and citizens to show solidarity and participate in this organization.
