The Special Court has postponed the deadline for announcing the verdict in the case of former KLA leaders until July 20.
Shqipe Selimi, Rexhep Selimi's wife, also spoke to Kanal10 regarding this decision.
According to her, the postponement of the final decision may be related to the political situation in which Kosovo finds itself.
She stressed that the decision on the KLA foursome could be postponed until the fall of this year.
"The Special Court has not been cooperative at all with the defense teams of the KLA quartet, they have constantly violated human rights, whether through visits, phone calls or files, and this decision to postpone the decision on the case, I think that the Court needs more time than it has been decided to review all the files that the prosecution has submitted, these files sponsored by Serbia, I think that the political situation in Kosovo may also affect the decision-making in the Special Court, because Kosovo is in an electoral process, the decision-making in The Hague may also be postponed, it is also worth noting that the decision may be postponed not only to July but until the fall", she said.
