Alban Skënderaj has presented his newest album "Roots", which he considers one of the most important moments in his artistic career.
Invited to the show "Ndryshe", he revealed that this project was also inspired by concerts and meetings with the public, which gave him the opportunity to more deeply understand the impact of his music and the emotional connection with his fans.
According to the artist, “Roots” represents a return to identity and origins, combining modern pop sounds with elements of traditional Albanian music. He emphasized that this time he created without pressure and without calculations, focusing on authenticity and artistic sensitivity.
Skënderaj admitted that the album is closely connected to his Labe roots, but at the same time includes influences from all over Albania – north, south, and central Albania.
He added that this project reflects more on the period of his life before emigration, bringing back memories of childhood, family, and traditional holidays.
Unlike before, when he was influenced by Western spirit and Italian music after returning to Albania, this time he has chosen to return to his artistic and cultural source. /GazetaExpress/
