Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati and the Minister of Finance of Belgium, Jan Jambon, have signed the agreement for the Elimination of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and Capital, as well as for the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Avoidance.
The statement also states that Murati emphasized that the agreement creates more favorable conditions for investments and facilitates business activity in both countries.
"Meanwhile, Minister Jambon praised the cooperation with Kosovo and reconfirmed Belgium's continued support for Kosovo's integration processes," the statement said, among other things.

On the sidelines of the Spring Meetings in Washington DC, Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr. Jan Jambon, signed the agreement for the Elimination of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and Capital, and for the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Avoidance.

This agreement further strengthens the economic partnership between Kosovo and Belgium and demonstrates the joint commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
This week, Minister Murati is staying in Washington DC, where he is participating in the Spring Meetings organized by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
