According to media reports, the artist felt unwell after his concerts abroad and then at his home in Istanbul, where on April 7 he was rushed to the hospital due to a high temperature and low blood pressure.
Doctors diagnosed a severe infection, which originated in gallbladder inflammation.
Initially, he was treated with antibiotics and kept in intensive care due to his delicate condition.
After partial improvement, the medical team decided to perform surgery, considering that it was a complicated case due to infection and the use of blood-thinning medications.
The surgical intervention was successful, without major complications, according to doctors, but for safety reasons he continues to remain under monitoring in the intensive care unit.
His health condition is reportedly improving and if everything goes according to plan, he is expected to be released from the hospital next week.
