After two extraordinary seasons with FC Prishtina 01, coach Ferid Agushi is increasingly attracting the interest of teams within the country, but also from outside Kosovo's borders.
Known as the architect of the club's glory on the domestic scene and the respect it has earned on the international stage, Agushi is being seen as one of the most valuable figures in the current futsal coaching market.
Over the past two years, Prishtina 01 has been the dominant force in the local championship under his leadership – winning the Kosovo Championship title twice and the Kosovo Cup twice, a rare success in the history of this sport.
The pinnacle of achievement came on the European stage, where the team put in an outstanding performance in the UEFA Futsal Champions League – passing the preliminary and main rounds, to secure a place in the Elite Round – the continent's Top 16, facing the big names of European futsal.
Several well-known clubs from outside Kosovo have expressed concrete interest in having Agushi on their staff, "Open TV" reports.
There is currently no official confirmation, but the signals are clear: the coach is already being targeted by powerful clubs, who see in him a leader with international experience and a proven winner.
On the other hand, Agushi himself has chosen to remain silent about his future, although some of his recent posts on social media have fueled speculation.
"When you have given your all, and when you have reached the top with a pure heart, there comes a moment when trophies no longer speak - but silence."
Agushi's future remains unclear, but one thing is indisputable: his value and reputation have increased significantly.
If Prishtina 01 wants to continue this glorious journey, it will have to take serious steps – because a champion coach is an important target for many clubs that aim not only for results, but also for a clear sporting identity./Express newspaper/
