Michael Madsen, known for his roles in the films 'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Kill Bill,' has died at the age of 67.

Actor Michael Madsen has died at the age of 67 at his Malibu home, authorities and his representatives have announced. Madsen was found unconscious and there is no suspicion of foul play.

He was pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m. In an email, Madsen's manager, Ron Smith, confirmed that his client had died of a heart attack.

A statement from Smith and another manager, Susan Ferris, along with publicist Liz Rodriguez said:

"In the past two years, Michael Madsen has done an incredible amount of independent work, including the upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and he was looking forward to this new chapter in his life."

“Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears for My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, which is currently being edited. Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors who will be missed by many.”

Madsen has a four-decade career.
