The home of famous actor Brad Pitt in Los Angeles has been robbed by a group of three thieves.
According to Los Angeles Police, the three suspects entered the home in the Los Feliz neighborhood through a window and ransacked the place. Police have not confirmed whether the home belongs to the Oscar-winning actor, but the address given matches that of a home Pitt purchased in 2023.
Authorities said the suspects fled with stolen items, although it is not clear what was taken. US media reports indicate that the actor was not home at the time of the robbery.
Pitt was in the UK this week for the premiere of his new film F1, which is due to be released on Friday. He was joined by actor Tom Cruise and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, who has won seven World Drivers' Championships.
The incident happened at around 22:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday and Los Angeles police have not yet confirmed the value of the items stolen. The BBC has contacted the actor's representatives for comment.
The large three-bedroom home is located near Griffith Park, home to the famous Hollywood Sign. The home is surrounded by a high fence and greenery, which shields it from the gaze of passersby.
