Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has announced that she has authorized the deployment of the Kosovo Security Force to an international peacekeeping operation, as part of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.
She said that Kosovo needed support, while today it takes responsibility to contribute to the international scene.
"Following approval by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, today I authorized the deployment of the Kosovo Security Force to an international peacekeeping operation, as part of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza. This decision reflects a Kosovo that understands security as an obligation to its citizens and as a responsibility to peace and international order."
"From a country that once needed the support of others, Kosovo today takes responsibility and contributes to the international scene. The Kosovo Security Force is an institution built with professionalism and high standards, ready to serve alongside our strategic partners. Participation in such missions proves the state maturity of our Republic and the place that Kosovo is strengthening every day in the international arena," Haxhiu wrote.
Vjosa Osmani, as president, had signed the Peace Board agreement led by US President Donald Trump, which included this issue. /Gazeta Express
