LDK's candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, said today that he spent the morning watching KF Prishtina training.
From there, Abdixhiku said that the country needs more fields and stadiums and that investing in sports is an investment in Kosovo's youth itself.
"A morning with the boys of the Capital. Today I followed the training of KF Prishtina, the club that represents the passion, dedication and dreams of entire generations. Sport, football, are much more than a game. They are discipline, character, sacrifice and competitive spirit. They are the place where young people learn to believe in themselves, in the team and in the city they represent. But the talent of our young people is not enough without real support. Kosovo needs more sports fields, functional stadiums, modern academies, dignified conditions for training and more institutional support for our clubs and athletes. Sport and football are investments in our youth. Investment in health, education, discipline and civic pride", wrote Abdixhiku.
He said that when a young person enters the sports field, he becomes an asset.
"When a club is supported, a city breathes differently. And when sport rises, our society itself rises."
