The Peja Police Station, on 26.01.2026, received information from the complainant that a case of aggravated robbery had occurred on 'Ndue Pörlleshi' Street in Peja. The complainant, who is temporarily residing in the USA, stated that in his house on the aforementioned street, he had left an amount of money of 176.900 US dollars and 3750 euros in the safe, which were stolen.
After intensive work by investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector DRP-Peć, today "they managed to arrest the suspect, who is suspected of having stolen the aforementioned amount of money," the police statement said, according to Express.
After being interviewed by investigators, by order of the state prosecutor, the suspect was sent into custody for 48 hours.
