The Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, announces that today it has extradited a Kosovo citizen from Switzerland to Kosovo.
According to the KP, the suspect was arrested by Swiss authorities after he was wanted by an international arrest warrant issued by Kosovo justice institutions for the criminal offense of "Attempted Murder" and had evaded justice.
The extradition was carried out thanks to cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Switzerland, the police statement continues.
"After extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units to continue with other legal procedures," the announcement states.
