A man in his 30s died today after his health condition deteriorated in a cafe in Prizren.
Police said his death was confirmed at the scene and that his brother confirmed the deceased's previous health problems.
"Today at around 09:20 on Ilaz Kodra Street in Prizren, citizen TQ, aged around 60, while he was in a coffee shop (Crali cafe) with his brother, his health condition deteriorated for a moment. Those present immediately sought medical assistance, where the emergency services arrived at the scene, but despite the provision of medical assistance, the doctor confirmed the death of the deceased. According to the victim's brother, the deceased had previous health problems," the Police statement said.
The case, however, is being investigated.
"The relevant police units immediately responded to the case in question. The Public Prosecutor of the state was notified of the case, who authorized the Kosovo Police to take all police actions. By order of the Public Prosecutor, the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy. The case is being investigated," the announcement states.
