Kosovo Police have launched investigations into a suspected case of inciting discord and intolerance after unknown persons tore a flag in South Mitrovica.
According to the police report, the incident was reported on March 5, 2026 at around 02:40 in the "Adem Jashari" square in South Mitrovica. It is suspected that unknown persons damaged, namely tore, a flag.
"Adem Jashari Square, Mitrovica South / 05.03.2026 – 02:40. It has been reported that a flag was torn by unknown persons. The relevant police units are being called in regarding the case," the Kosovo police report said.
