PDK's candidate for mayor of Lipjan, Shukri Buja, has clarified his party's position regarding the placement of the statue of Adem Jashari in this city.
Buja said on the Pressing show on T7 that he was preparing a defamation lawsuit against Imri Ahmeti.
"A lawsuit for defamation and insult is being prepared for all PDK members in Lipjan and the assembly members. At that time, the coalition between LDK and the Alliance broke down, and the Alliance and LDK formed the majority in the municipal assembly. There was an attempt at the first meeting to overthrow the assembly chairwoman, and to be elected by the majority in the assembly. It was not possible. The meeting was interrupted, there is no such right. The PDK and the Ministry of Local Government were postponed for 2 months, because the LDK abandoned the meeting at that time while it had the majority in the assembly.
"He bought the two assemblies of the Alliance at that time, and they held the meeting, and with 16 votes they approved the budget changes. Those changes were other projects and were not just the statues," said Buja.
