The municipality of Drenas has announced that Lirigzon Karaqica, 25 years old, from the village of Gallanasella, but who lived in Sweden, has died.
In a Facebook post, the mayor of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, also expressed condolences.
"The untimely departure of Lirigzon is a great pain for our family and municipality. Our sincere condolences and we pray that God will give the family the strength to cope with Lirigzon's sudden death. Our sincere condolences to the Karaqica family," said Lladrovci.
The deceased had a master's degree in political science and a doctoral candidate. Karaqica was also an assemblyman in the Municipal Assembly of Jokkmokk, Sweden.
