Prishtina footballer Djordje Saletic suffered a serious head injury today in the Super League match against Prishtina e Re.
In the match played today at "Fadil Vokrri", the Montenegrin defender suffered a head injury after a duel on the field with a player from Prishtina e Re, and thus ended up at the University Clinical Center (QKUK).
Pristina has announced his condition, stating that he received 7 stitches in his head due to the impact.
The capital club has announced that his condition is now stable and that he will be absent for at least 10 days.
"Our footballer, Djordje Saletic, suffered a head injury during an aerial duel in today's match. As a result of the impact, he received 7 stitches at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK). Fortunately, his condition is stable and he has not suffered any more serious injuries. He is expected to be out of action for 7 to 10 days," Prishtina announced.
The match Prishtina – Prishtina e Re ended 1-1.
Mario Ilievski scored for Pristina, while Astrit Berisha scored for the guests.
