In the period from 09.02.2026 to 15.02.2026, the "Safe City" system in the areas of cities and Corridors where cameras have been installed recorded a total of 4,490 violations, which represents a 10% decrease compared to the first week of February when 4,991 violations were recorded, reports Portalb.mk.
Of the total number of violations recorded, the largest number was for driving a vehicle at a speed exceeding the permitted limit 4,297, followed by 33 for passing a closed signal (red traffic light), and 160 violations were recorded for driving a vehicle with an expired license.
Also, a total of 148 "driving ban" measures were issued, the number of which is down by 48.6% compared to last week, of which 33 are for running a red light, and 115 are for speeding, of which 99 for speeding over 80 km per hour in a populated area, 12 for speeding over 10 km per hour above the permitted vehicle limit and four for speeding over 170 km per hour in an unpopulated area.
