Today marks 27 years since the heroic fall of the commander and fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Agim Ramadani, one of the most emblematic figures of the war for freedom and one of the key strategists of the Battle of Koshare.
In his memory, a memorial academy is organized at noon in the Red Hall of the Youth Palace in Pristina. While every April 9, this historical legacy of Albanian resistance is commemorated through the traditional manifestation "Albanian Days", in honor of the battle that broke the Albanian-Albanian border.
Agim Ramadani - Katana, was one of the drafters of the plan to break the border in Koshare and together with his comrades, he realized one of the most symbolic moments of the liberation war.
Born on May 3, 1963 in Zhegër, Gjilan, he was trained as a soldier at the Military Academy in Zagreb and then as an artist and creator, leaving his mark in poetry and painting.
