20 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Kosovo, bringing total to 165

Kosovo has recorded 20 new coronavirus cases on Monday after testing 129 samples, health authorities confirmed. On Monday morning the Ministry of Health announced that two people died bringing total number of deaths to three.

Of newly positive cases 15 are from the village Banje of Malisheva, two in Malisheva twon, another case was tested positive in the village Bllace of Suhareka and another one from Drenas living in Pristina. The total number of those tested positive for coronavirus in Kosovo jumped to 165. The National Institute of Public Health said that one patient has recovered on Monday bringing the number of those fully recovered to 24.

Kosovo authorities have stepped up restriction measure in an effort to contain further spread of COVID-19. On Monday the mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti, announced that they have decided to block public access to all city parks and squares in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus. /GazetaExpress/
